Own Safety, Lead Safety

Compass is an active participant in Expand Energy’s safety program, which promotes teamwork and communication at all levels of the organization and across all companies. Our top priority is to provide a safe and environmentally responsible work setting for our employees, contractors, landowners and the communities where we operate.

We define “safety” as controlling exposure for self and others. The absence of injury does not mean the presence of safety. It is paramount that we focus on controlling our exposures.

Fostering a culture that inspires strong safety and environmental stewardship will help us to Own Safety and Lead Safety. Our goal is for all employees to return home safely, so our field safety and training coaches ensure all our facilities and jobsites are equipped with the resources they need to operate safely and responsibly.
